OK, so let me explain! =) When I first started, I painted the screws because I thought the screws matching was aesthetically appealing. But as time progressed and I gained more experience with the entire process, I stopped painting the screws because I realized that upon installation, at least some of the paint/glitter will be scratched off. Thus, there's less durability with the passing of time. Now, I think leaving the screws as they are actually achieves a cleaner appearance—not to mention, you won't have to worry about the paint peeling off. However, I will surely paint the screws to match if you genuinely want me to and you aren't worried about this issue. Just let me know what your preference is, and I'll be happy to do it either way!

I used to accept every return and every exchange for any reason, but it began to hurt my business because I ended up with hundreds of random wall plates that just started to accumulate and could no longer be used for anything, so they were wasted. So, unfortunately, I can no longer accept returns on items that you accidentally and/or incorrectly ordered. Also, I don't take returns due to the personalized nature of my items. However, if it is for another valid, legitimate reason, I can provide coupon codes for store credit. However, if there was an error in your order and it was my mistake, I will, of course, ship out the correct item to you or refund the cost of the item.

I am constantly on Etsy, so I will normally respond to messages within a few hours, or 24 hours at the most.

Don't worry; it's no biggie! Just message me as soon as possible and include in the message your first and last name and the corrected address, and I'll make a note of it and be sure to send your package out to the newly modified address.

Purchasing a set of 2 child safety plugs will NOT get you 2 separate outlet covers (AKA wall plates). You'll receive a pair of child safety outlet plugs which are 2 small plastic objects that slide into wall outlets to keep children from electrocuting themselves. Child safety plugs aren't outlet covers themselves; they just go into them. (Although, they'll be decorated in regards to color and glitter the same way as the other wall plates would be.) So please understand this before making a purchase of child safety plugs just because they are cheaper, as you will not be happy when you receive the wrong item(s) when you intended on ordering outlet covers but receive safety plugs. And believe me: many people have made this mistake.

For domestic orders:
USPS Ground Advantage (2-5 business day transit time), which is the most cost-efficient method for packages weighing below 16 ounces. Includes insurance up to $100.
For packages weighing over 16 ounces, there are 3 options:
#1 = USPS Parcel Select, which is the lowest cost option for heavier items, but can be slow (2-9 day transit time). Insurance is not included.
#2 = USPS Priority Mail—several dollars more than Parcel Select but has a transit time of only 1-4 business days. Includes insurance up to $100.
#3 = Priority Express—most expensive of all shipping services, but also the very quickest (transit time of 1-2 business days). Includes insurance up to $100.

I spend a lot of time packaging each one of my items with the utmost care. I use lots of bubble wrap and high-quality packaging materials to cushion all items. Unfortunately, sometimes shipping carriers can be a bit rough, so broken items are an occurrence once in a while, however seldom. If you receive an item that is damaged, please message me. Your item will be insured for up to $100 if you utilized Ground Advantage, Priority, or Priority Express. Unfortunately, any packages sent via Parcel Select do not come with insurance.
